The Secrets Behind Pillow Talk

By LoveBug On October 18, 2007 Under Passion

Your partner’s bed habits speak volumes about his nature and personality. If you pay attention to these details then most of your expectations and desires will be clarified. Here is a list of the different types of men and their characteristics. It is up to you to decide which one suits yours partner or which one you wish you had.

1) The Escapist: A book seen always placed at his bedside naturally indicates he loves to read. It is a good thing you may think because he is well read and knowledgeable and you are right. But the flip side is that he loves escapism and prefers fantasy to reality. He compartmentalizes his life and prefers to leave his worries and tension outside the bedroom. He won’t be in favor of going to bed angry or sorting out marital problems while in bed. He would actually prefer getting dressed and going somewhere else to discuss issues.

2) The Workaholic: This type of a man doesn’t feel that he is overworked. His frame of mind only focuses on nothing else but work so getting work home is his second nature. His bedside table and bed will be scattered with paperwork and he will find it hard to switch off the night lamp. He complains of lack of time and gets irritable because he is forced to stop working. He will be very fidget, toss, turn, drink water and visit the bathroom couple of times because he is restless, busy planning work for the next day. So don’t expect him to be romantic in the bedroom.

3) The Fussy: He has a fixed process of how he should go to bed. He will need his things placed in the same location and placed in the same exact order. He is so tied up in various little bedtime rituals that it might take him an hour before he is ready to go to sleep.

4) The Perfectionist: Just as the title suggests, he likes everything to be just right. He enjoys luxurious best quality bed linen, perfect air conditioning with the optimum temperature setting. The reading light should be placed just above the eye level so that it doesn’t disturb him. In short, he takes his slumber very seriously.

5) The Slob: This type of the man brings all his activities in bed. He likes to eat, read newspaper, watch television and have conversation in bed. To him, the bedroom and his bed are not very sacred to him so best of luck if your partner has these traits.
